This is now – hopefully helping others to get in the best shape of their lives.

I started The Fitness Focus after finally losing close to 30lbs with the help of Beachbody’s at-home workout programs as a means of keeping myself accountable and sharing my positive experience to inspire others to take charge of their health and fitness too.

But it wasn’t always so easy. After the loss of my father, I slowly gained weight and tried unsuccessfully for years to lose what had crept on over the years. I could blame it on a variety of things from depression to eating junk food to not exercising, but really, there was nothing to blame except myself.

After losing weight and finally feeling good about myself and enjoying answering comments on my blog, I decided to be a Beachbody coach. Fast forward to now…coaching has literally turned my life around. I don’t just go through the day to day without passion, a drone in a work environment where I was constantly building someone else’s dreams, I am now lucky enough to be able to do something I love. I can finally say that I now love my life, I don’t just live it. This is what I hope to share with you too, whether it’s health and fitness you need help with or if you’re looking for a more.

Not being happy with your self image can be devastating to your health, so it starts with health and fitness. Being a Beachbody coach allows me to help inspire others while losing weight and raise awareness of the benefits of living a healthy and successful life, while teaching others how to reach their own health and fitness goals. You are never too old, too young, too big or too small to take charge of your life. If I can do it, so can you!
