I’m going to let you in on a cool little feature I just found on Beachbody On Demand.
When Beachbody releases a new workout program, they add a complete sample workout from the program to the Beachbody On Demand library of workouts. I always thought these workouts were taken down after a certain amount of time or for people with a paid membership subscription only – but they’re not!
These sample workouts are always available and can be played whether you’re a paid Beachbody On Demand member or if you have a free account. The sample workouts I’m going to share below are also uploaded directly to Vimeo under Beachbody’s official account.
List of the Latest 15 Sample Workouts
Below is the list of the sample Beachbody workouts you can stream both online from Beachbody On Demand, the Beachbody on Demand app or search Vimeo to watch. No account is needed on Vimeo. To stream directly from Beachbody, you need to have at least a free BOD membership account.
Just to note, the free sample workouts are for all of the newer workout programs; the older workout releases don’t have this feature that I can find.
645 Sample Workout
This program isn’t available to the general public yet, but I feel like it’s going to be a really good comprehensive program after trying the sample. There is a longer warm-up period than other workouts, functional weight moves, and cardio. 645 workouts are 6 days a week and 45 minutes a day by Amolia Cesar.

#mbf Muscle Burns Fat Sample Workout
This workout program was released in July 2020 by Megan Davies and is still the most popular program on Beachbody On Demand. It’s also one of my favorites. #mbf incorporates unilateral weight training and a cordless jump rope to get you building lean muscle and burning fat.

4 Weeks of the Prep Sample Workout
Honestly not my favorite workout. I feel like they missed the mark with this one. It seemed to be kind of thrown together for the people who couldn’t keep up with 6 Weeks of the Work. Disappointing to say the least.

6 Weeks of the Work Sample Workout
Now this program is an excellent functional fitness program and one of my favorites. It is an advanced program that uses weights and cardio, but if you know how to modify and go at your own pace, I feel like any fitness level would be okay with it. A good one for athletes looking to level up their game by Amolia Cesar.

9 Week Control Freak Sample Workout
This program by Autumn Calabrese got me back into working out with Beachbody after my second baby. It uses bands, weights, a step, and a stability ball. It is kind of hard to follow because you’re jumping from one thing to the next, and I feel like once you finally get the moves down, they change. Overall I can’t complain, since I lost a ton of weight. And more importantly, I’ve been working out consistently for 7 months now since starting this program.

10 Rounds Sample Workout
I tried 10 Rounds by Joel Freeman. I’ve only given up on a couple programs since I tried my first Beachbody program years ago, and this is one of a few I just couldn’t get into. I may have been in too good of cardiovascular strength to get much out of it, but it just wasn’t working for me. I got bored…fast. The program is boxing based – not a fun type of boxing/martial arts cardio that I would’ve preferred, so if you’re into that type of training, then maybe give it a try and see if it works for you.

21 Day FIx Sample Workout
It’s been a long time since I did the original 21 Day Fix by Autumn Calabrese. In my opinion, they are good workouts and it’s a very effective program that’s gotten hundreds of my clients amazing long-lasting results, but the chatter wasn’t my favorite. The live workouts they reshot are much better, and you can now find them on Beachbody On Demand.

21 Day Fix Extreme Sample Workout
I don’t find the extreme workouts of the 21 Day Fix to be that much more difficult than the original. They are different, which is a good thing, but you will only get as much out of either program as you put in.

30 Day Breakaway Sample Workout
This is the only program on the list that I haven’t completed or tried the sample workout of. Mainly because of a knee issue I’m dealing with right now that makes running kind of hard. The gist of this one is a combination of running and resistance training to get you able to run a 5K in 30 days. By Idalis Velazquez.

Barre Blend Sample Workout
Barre Blend by trainer Elise Joan is a blend of exercises where you frequently use a barre (or good old chair) for balance. Classic dance, yoga and Pilates moves combined with strength training moves and low impact cardio make this a very effective workout. This workout uses very light weights/no weights and high reps to really burn the muscles. A great one to try if you’re looking to lean out or need a change of pace.

Pre and Post Natal Barre Blend Sample Workout
This adaptation of the Barre Blend workouts came out right after I had my second child. If you’re looking to learn how to modify how you should be working out pre- or post-pregnancy, this is a good series.

Let’s Get Up Sample Workout
This workout by Shaun T is so much fun! It is marketed as a beginner program, which it can be, but it is also a great workout for any fitness level with its intermediate and advanced options. It uses both dance and weight training along with various Insanity-based program moves to get that heart rate up and the fat burning. Shaun T’s personality will definitely help you get up and moving.

Liift4 Sample Workout
This program by Joel Freeman is one that focuses more on weight training than cardio. It uses lots of compound sets and super sets, then adds cardio in-between weight training sets or at the end of the workout. It’s a good workout to try and see if you like this style of training.

imes de mas Sample Workout
This is the first workout available en español in Beachbody’s library by Idalis Velazquez. I tried the sample workout and really enjoyed it. It seems pretty similar to the 21 Day Fix program concept, which incorporates a good mix of resistance training, cardio and stretching.
Morning Meltdown 100 Sample Workout
The only Beachbody workout program with a live DJ by Jericho McMatthews. With 30-minute workouts set to music that incorporates both weights and cardio, I like to recommend this program to beginners or people looking to get back into working out. The use of a DJ not only helps keep it fresh, but also really helps you with the pace.
