Getting Ready to Begin the Brazil Butt Lift Workout Program

After allowing my shoulder to completely recover, I am happy to say that I will be beginning the Brazil Butt Lift program tomorrow. I am so excited after watching the infomercial and reading all the great reviews online.

My Classic Program

This is my butt equation. My Butt is too big and pear shaped, so I decided to do the Classic Brazil Butt Lift schedule. And yes…”My Butt” really is mine.

If you haven’t read through previous posts, I have decided upon the Classic Schedule of Leandro Carvalho’s Brazil Butt Lift program. I am all suited up and ready to go…just have to wait for the program to arrive! All I needed to buy was a set of ankle weights.

If you must know why, just look at the similarities between what I have going on and what the program identifies as pear-shaped and too big (pictured right). I believe I fit the bill almost to a perfect tee, although you can’t really see that my upper body is almost completely straight up and down – I don’t have a very nice hourglass curve, while my derriere is more than curvy with a little too much fat for me.

Together, this combo of fat and genetics = Classic schedule. Unfortunately, this is also the most demanding of all the schedules, incorporating good amounts of sculpting and cardio to get me the best butt ever…hopefully.

I am still optimistic though, especially after viewing Brazil Butt Lift infomericals almost every morning. While the program is most known for its ability to transform supermodels’ butts, I am just hoping to noticeably slender down the thighs and smooth out the cottage cheese thighs and butt.

Sayonara Cellulite!

Speaking honestly, I have cellulite everywhere on my bottom half – even on my calves and ankles – not just my hips, butt, and thighs. Genetics…yuck. There’s nothing you can do to escape them, although there is a way to work with them. While they say it’s only 30% genetics or something close to that and the greater cause being your lifestyle, there is nothing you can do about your bone structure. Especially if you’re like me and your chest barely measures 35″ at its largest with your hips being 40″!

I know cellulite is very difficult to get rid of, so I will be happy if it diminishes even slightly. I owe it all to a family of relatively flat-chested, big legged women. The only good news is that there is no heart disease on that side of the family!

I will be watching what I eat closely and staying away from all processed foods. I have a three day vacation planned to hit the beach in mid-August, so that will serve as another incentive to stick with the program and not veer from my fitness path.

The fact is, although you cannot get rid of cellulite totally without that new surgery they’re talking about, by building muscle and increasing circulation to your legs, you can lessen its appearance and the amounts. Just stay tuned for my before and after.

Don’t Accept Genetics

It’s going to be hard for me, who admits to being a candy and pizza addict and is obviously bigger boned on the bottom half of me, but I think it will definitely be worth it even if I get half the results of the women you see on TV – although most are already tiny, which kind of irks me.

It is so much more difficult to find someone who’s actually a pear-shape or chubby on the bottom in the before and after shots of the Brazil Butt Lift, but they are out there. These are the women that inspire me and really make me think I can transform my body – I don’t have to be pear-shaped and fat-bottomed my entire life – I don’t have to wear capris instead of real shorts to cover up my hamstring ripples – I don’t have to buy dresses that flow out from the waist down…well, you get my point.

You don’t have to suffer dreading bathing suit season each year because of your butt…that’s what the Brazil Butt Lift is for! If you want to see real Brazil Butt Lift Results, visit my 60-day results page.

Changing Habits is Tough…Stick with It!

My ultimate goal is to change my fitness habits all while getting a better looking butt. This is the reason I chose the Brazil Butt Lift – not only is it easier to tone down to my current fitness level, which is relatively non-existent, but it is also focused on the one area of my body I have hated since high school – my butt and thighs.

  2. Hey Bethany, I began brazil butt lift last week I’m week 2 right now I was looking through the calendar and I’m doing the pear shaped program after 1 week I lost 2 inches off my hips and 3 pounds does this sound right, I was concerned I am eating healthy probably around 1300 cals. a day or even less and I was thinking why haven’t I lost any weight, this week? What’s your email so you can help me add you as my beach body coach

    1. Hi Allie, your results so far are right on track. You do not want to lose more than one or 2 pounds a week as this is unsustainable. Never go below 1200 calories a day, as this is unhealthy for your body and can actually slow weight loss. My email is [email protected]. And, thanks for wanting to make me your coach. – Bethany

  3. Hi Bethany,
I’m so happy to have found your blog. First of, congratulations for sticking it out! I know it was a lot of hard work. My shape is exactly like yours. I could actually confuse our pictures if I didn’t look at the face. I’m pear+big butt and saddle bags like yours. I’m skinny on top, but my silhouette breaks right underneath where underwear fits, it’s like someone glued extra fat onto my hips. It looks and feels as if though it didn’t belong to my body. I also have chubby knees, chubby ankles and cellulite on thighs and butt. I’m on Insanity now, but results are slow and painful. I’ll have to keep working on it. I plan to try the butt lift after I am done with insanity!

Thanks for inspiration! If someone with my body shape could do it, so can I!
    Best,
    Ksenia

    1. Hi Ksenia, good luck with Insanity! And, you are right you can do it! I’d love to hear about your Insanity results when you finish up. Doing Insanity first should also help with your BBL results later as you will get the overall weight loss from Insanity and can then really tone up with BBL. -Bethany
