Here is a breakdown of three menu segments:
- Standing Work with Band: In the first part, you will stand with the resistance band around your feet as you do various movements from leg raises to step touches. You’ll work your butt and your abs very nicely all while having a pretty fun time.
- Floor Work with Band: This is when things begin to really burn and you start feeling muscles that have lay dormant for quite some time. You will lie on your side with the resistance band positioned above the knees doing some various movements from side leg raises to various clam shell exercises to work every area of your backside.
- Floor Work with Ankle Weights: This is the part where the burn will feel almost unbearable. The good news is that it’s not that long before the workout’s over, and you do get a nice stretch in between the band work and this part. This is my favorite segment of the High & Tight workout because it reminds me of dance class when we used to do endless leg raises while on our hands and knees, which really gets you the beautiful backside you’ve always wanted.
Equipment You’ll Need
The great thing about the High & Tight workout is that you do not need a lot of equipment. Besides the booty band the Brazil Butt Lift program comes with, you will only need a yoga mat and a set of ankle weights – whichever weight you choose. I opted for up to 5 lb adjustable weights (a 10 lb set), but there is everything from 2 lbs to 10 lbs.
To Make Things Harder
In the beginning, the High & Tight workout is going to burn and kick your butt without any equipment. You may even wonder if you’ll ever need ankle weights or the resistance band. The program suggests using no weight the first time you do it, which is a wise suggestion you should definitely follow.
