I have good news. It doesn’t cost a lot to get started as a Beachbody Coach.
If you follow the steps in this article, you can even get the coaching sign-up fee waived.
However, there’s a chance you could get the Coach sign-up fee waived, which we will go over below. Or if you’re already a Beachbody customer, there may even be a way to get the fee reimbursed.

There Are Couple Ways to Join Beachbody but We All Get the Same Benefits
It doesn’t matter which method you choose – here’s what you get:
- New coach welcome materials to get started right
- Your own personalized website to refer customers
- 25% discount on Beachbody products (*BOD membership fees excluded)
- Access to the Coach Online Office
- And lots of support tools from Beachbody

Option #1 – Flat Fee
Pay a flat fee of $39.95 for Team Beachbody Coach enrollment fee. This is the standard option of joining. It’s how I got started, because this was the only option, but now there is now a better way. See option 2.
Option #2 – Challenge Pack Coach Enrollment (fee waived)
Get the coach sign-up fee waived by ordering a Beachbody Challenge Pack when you join.
A Beachbody Challenge Pack includes a Beachbody program and Shakeology on HD shipping. You go through the same process as Option #1, but when checking out, you select a Challenge Pack. Simple and has many benefits.
This option gets you signed up as a coach for free because you don’t have to pay the standard $39.95 you will pay with option #1.
Tip: Challenge Pack prices vary! Beachbody runs monthly specials on certain Challenge Packs that can save you $20. If there is a program you’re interested in or you can also choose the Beachbody On Demand Annual Challenge Pack to get started.
Option #3 If You Previously Ordered a Challenge Pack (fee reimbursed)
If you previously ordered a Challenge Pack, you can get the sign-up fee refunded with the Customer to Coach program.
To take advantage of this program:
You will sign-up as a coach paying the $39.95 fee. Then, you fill out a simple online form that asks you when you originally purchased the Challenge Pack. Submit the form. Within a couple of days, the refund will processed and sent to you.
If you are currently enrolled on Shakeology, it often makes the most financial sense to cancel your Shakeology order and purchase a Challenge Pack during the coach sign-up.
What Do You Need to Buy Monthly as Beachbody Coach?
I hear a lot of conflicting information on the topic of what you have to buy to be a coach. Here are many of things people think they have to buy, but really you do not.
- You do not need to buy Shakeology.
- You don’t need to stock inventory.
- You do not need to pay for any workout programs.
- A subscription to Beachbody On Demand is not required.
However, it does make sense to order Shakeology HD. This automatically makes your coach account active to receive commissions. This is a whole other topic I’m not going to go over in detail in another post. But for now. Beachbody gives out customers to active coaches who reach certain requirements and on Shakeology HD is one.
The Monthly Cost of Being a Beachbody Coach
Here is another area of confusion about Team Beachbody coaching. You do not have to buy anything monthly as an active Coach either.
However, Coaches do pay a monthly coach business service fee. This helps cover the cost of your personal Team Beachbody Coach website, which is where you people go to order from you.
The monthly coach business service fee is $15.95 every 30 days after joining. Selling a single program in a month can cover this monthly fee.
How Much It Costs Be a Coach in Other Countries
In Canada, you have the same options to join the Team Beachbody Coach network as you do in the United States. The only difference is that the fees are slightly higher in Canada:
Flat Coach sign-up fee: 49.95 $
Challenge Pack fees vary.
Monthly Coach account maintenance fee: 17.95 $
In Fall 2017 we are going to see the costs of the United Kingdom , so I will update once that number becomes available.
What If You Decide Coaching is Not Right For You
Now that we have fully covered the costs and options available to you when joining Team Beachbody, what happens if you don’t want to do it any longer. Well, I have good news!
There is a 30-day, 100% refund policy if you decide coaching is not for you for any reason. You can simply cancel and you will be refunded any costs minus shipping.
